Guided Impact

The Issue:

A rebranding and a new website. Formerly The Institute of Nonprofit Event Training (INET for short), they were ambivalent about their previous name, logo, and company approach. They needed help to hone their mission and strategy. Once branding was updated, they had a website that felt like it lacked intention, direction, and clarity.

The Solution:

The team at Loop and I worked with the INET folks to settle on a new name that better reflected their vision - Guided Impact. Robyn and I went through a few rounds to create an identity that was clean and subtle. Then I created a brand identity guide.

For the website our excellent copywriter, Hillary, took their first copy draft and whittled it down to be clearer and easier to follow, with a logical flow of information. I made a template for their past work (case studies) so they could actually show off their capabilities. I created background images to add interest while retaining the "clean" look they wanted. The typography of the new site reflects their traditional values without feeling stale. I wrote some custom CSS to take their buttons away from default settings, automatically update their copyright date, and make sure their icons don't degrade and get fuzzy over time.

For now, the website is simple. They are planning to add classes and workshops, more events, and more case study videos over the next few months.

Testimonial:

Really incredible job with the website. Thanks for sticking with me as I tried to figure out exactly what we were wanting. I am so pleased with it and so thankful for your graciousness and hard working.
